Derek Rowley
Derek Rowley is the founder of Corporate Service Center, Inc., located in Reno. He is also president of Superior Capital Corporation, the holding company that owns Nevada Corporate Headquarters, Inc., Corporate Service Center, Inc., Integrated Tax Solutions, Inc. and other businesses. Mr. Rowley has worked to promote the benefits of Nevada business and incorporation laws since 1987, longer than any other individual involved in this industry.
Mr. Rowley is also a leading business author. Nevada Corporation Handbook, which he first published more than twelve years ago, has sold more than 25,000 copies in eight printings and is considered the foremost treatise on Nevada business entities.
Since 2002, Mr. Rowley has served as the president of the Nevada Resident Agent Association (NRAA), Nevada’s largest business organization representing more than 40,000 Nevada companies. In his capacity with NRAA, Mr. Rowley is active in the Nevada political process and has written and lobbied bills that now contain many of Nevada’s laws regarding corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships.
Mr. Rowley’s background also includes three years as associate director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority, where he specialized in the recruitment and relocation of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies to Northern Nevada.
Cort W. Christie
Cort W. Christie is the founder of Nevada Corporate Headquarters, Inc., the premier business formation and consulting firm in Las Vegas. A national expert on entrepreneurship, Mr. Christie has an extensive background in the financial services and business consulting industries. He has distinguished himself as a nationally recognized speaker and has appeared as a featured guest on some of the largest radio shows across the country. He has also hosted his own radio program in San Diego and Las Vegas. Television appearances include cable networks MSNBC and CNBC.
Mr. Christie has a BA in Finance from the University of Minnesota at Duluth and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He also served as the president of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and currently sits on the board of Reno’s chapter of The Entrepreneurs Organization.
A board member of the Nevada Resident Agent Association, Mr. Christie is also a member of the Nevada Taxpayers’ Association, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Nevada Development Authority and the Nevada Policy Research Institute.
Mr. Christie is the author of the book incorporating in Nevada – The Do-it-Yourself Guide and the book The Nevada Edge, both of which have been distributed to tens of thousands of business owners.
Wayne Hoff , CEPP
Wayne Hoff is the director of asset protection and estate planning services at Corporate Service Center, Inc. in Reno. He attended Ohio State University, Capital University and Troy State University, acquiring his BS in psychology magna cum laude. He also has an MS in marketing and psychology.
As southeastern regional manager of Mutual and United of Omaha, Mr. Hoff specialized in small business benefit planning. He obtained his NASD license and was a chartered life underwriter and member of the Million Dollar Roundtable.
Mr. Hoff founded Ads Ahead and Sierra Graphics with WHO-CO as the parent company. This venture was a successful combination of promotional print media, ad specialties and marketing services. He sold the business in 1986 and became the director of assessments and admissions for BHC Willow Springs Center, a long-term child and adolescent psychiatric center.
Mr. Hoff returned to the world of business to become the vice president of one of the oldest and largest estate planning firms in the U.S. He has conducted hundreds of estate planning seminars throughout the U.S. and has been a principal presenter at the annual conference for the National Association of Certified Estate Planners.
Steve Szostek, JD
Steve Szostek is a graduate of Indiana University. He has earned a BS in secondary education, MA in sociology and an MBA in finance and marketing. Currently, he is admitted to practice in the Nevada state and federal courts and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Szostek has practiced law in Hawaii, Indiana and Nevada. He has been a deputy attorney general in Indiana and a corporate trust officer for Bank One in Indianapolis. He currently specializes in estate planning, business law and bankruptcy. Mr. Szostek is also a member in good standing of the Nevada and Clark County Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
